Kazakhstan Today, Astana, 26 Dec 2008 – Almaty. December 26. Kazakhstan Today – Government of Kazakhstan approved a list of territories of the republic, which are temporarily closed to be attended by foreigners, agency reports with reference to official mass media.
In accordance with the clause 7 of the article 7 of the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of March 15, 1999 ‘On state secrets’ the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan ordered to approve a list of territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan, temporarily closed for visiting by foreigners.
The regulation of the government of Kazakhstan as of December 12, 2008 ?1170 a list of Kazakshtani territories, which are temporarily closed for attending by foreigners: territory of Gvardeiskiy village located in Almaty oblast, Matibulak of Almaty oblast and rail way halt Kulzhabasy of Zhambyl oblast, which are not entitled into the closed territory – up to 2015; city Baikonur, Karmakchinskiy and Kazalinskiy districts of Kyzylorda oblast – up to 2015.
Entrance of foreigners on the territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan, temporarily closed for attendance by foreigners, is permitted by Foreign ministry and Internal ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan on agreement with the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
