Media.ge, Tbilisi, 08 Aug 2008 – Due to the deterioration of the situation in the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone a group of MPs opened an international media center in Trialeti TV premises in Gori adjacent to the conflict zone.
The international media center, one of the initiators MP Goka Gabashvili said reporting to Media.ge, will help Georgian as well as foreign journalists cover current developments in the conflict zone.
“Since Georgian as well as foreign journalists take keen interest in the developments in the conflict zone, we would like to have place where the verified information from the conflict zone will be accumulated. In addition the media center will provide consultations to the journalists on hazardous or safe places for work,” Goka Gabashvili reported.
