Media.ge, Tbilisi, 06 Oct 2008 – David Kanjaria, Rustavi 2 cameraman was chased and physically abused by one of the soldiers when filming the dismantling process of one of the Russian checkpoints dislocated in the village Urta (western Georgia).

The incident took place on October 5, following the cameraman’s disobedience to the soldiers’ categorical demand on quitting filming.
As a result of an attack Konjaria was injured in his head. In addition the Russian soldier destroyed his camera.
