EurasiaNet is seeking to build a photographic archive that will be used to illustrate articles. Photos should concern political, economic, social and environmental developments in the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia, as well as Afghanistan, Iran, Mongolia and Turkey. EurasiaNet would especially welcome contributions from professional photographers based in the regions concerned. The website will consider buying rights either to entire portfolios, or single photographs. Color photographs are preferred, but black&white submissions will receive all due consideration. All submissions should be made electronically, preferably as a jpeg attachment. EurasiaNet also seeks photographers in the region who can cover spot news events on a freelance basis, providing the website with an ongoing source of news photographs. For more information, please contact EurasiaNet editor Justin Burke at the Central Eurasia Project: +1 212.548.0392; jburke@eurasianet.org.
