Bakı, CASCFEN, 13.11.2012 – Noyabrın 13-də Orta Asiya və Güney Qafqaz Söz Azadlığı Şəbəkəsinin (CASCFEN) sədri Azər Həsrət Milli QHT Forumunun (MQF) ofisini ziyarət edərək qurumun prezidenti Rauf Zeyni ilə görüşüb. Görüşdə CASCFEN-in Foruma üzvlük məsələsi, həmçinin ölkə QHT-lərinin inteqrasiya məsələləri, gələcək işbirliyi imkanları müzakirə edilib.
MQF prezidenti Rauf Zeyni bildirib ki, CASCFEN kimi bir qurumun MQF-yə üzv olması həm onun, həm də Forumun fəaliyyəti üçün faydalı olacaq. “Biz sizin fəaliyyətlərinizlə yaxından tanışıq və heç şübhə etmirik ki, birlikdə həm ölkə içində, həm də xaricdə çox ciddi işlərə imza ata bilərik. Bu gün dövlətimiz də belə fəaliyyətlərin genişlənməsində maraqlıdır və biz QHT təmsilçiləri olaraq bu imkandan geniş istifadə etməliyik”, – deyə Rauf Zeyni bildirib.
CASCFEN sədri Azər Həsrət isə öz növbəsində qeyd edib ki, başçılıq etdiyi təşkilat siyasi proseslərdən kənar olmaqla bərabər Azərbaycan dövləti və dövlətçiliyi məsələlərində milli mənafelərə uyğun çalışan qurumlarla işbirliyində maraqlıdır. “MQF-nin quruculuq prosesində iştirak edən bir şəxs kimi əminəm ki, bu qurum həmişə milli dövlətçilik maraqlarımıza uyğun fəaliyyət göstərib. Üstəlik, bu təşkilat Azərbaycanda və ondan kənarda ölkəmizin mənafeləri üçün çoxsaylı böyük tədbirlərə imza atıb. Ona görə də düşündük ki, səylərimizi birləşdirək və daha geniş fəaliyyət üçün əlavə platforma əldə edək”, – deyən Azər Həsrət onu da qeyd edib ki, CASCFEN İdarə Heyətinin 3 noyabr 2012-ci il tarixli toplantısında MQF-yə üzv olmaqla bərabər qərar qəbul edilib.
CASCFEN-in MQF-yə üzvlüyü üçün sənədləri qəbul edən Rauf Zeyni deyib ki, məsələyə ən qısa müddət ərzində baxılacaq.

Baku, CASCFEN, Nov 13, 2012 – A chairman of the Central Asian and Southern Caucasian Freedom of Expression Network (CASCFEN) Azer Hasret has visited Azerbaijan National NGO Forum offices and met its president Rauf Zeyni. Mainly two issues were discussed during the meeting: CASCFEN membership to the Forum and perspective collaboration opportunities.
The president of the NGO Forum Mr. Rauf Zeyni has noted that CASCFEN`s desire to become a member of this coalition would benefit not only CASCFEN, but the Forum as well. “We are aware of your activities quite well and believe that together we can do more as inside the country as outside for the benefit of Azerbaijan statehood and national interests. Our state also is interested in broadening this kind of activities and we as representatives of NGOs should use this opportunity to further our work” – has told Rauf Zeyni.
A chairman of CASCFEN Mr. Azer Hasret noted in turn that his organization is far from any political affiliation and activity as a civil society structure and is interested to collaborate with those organizations which serve the interests of Azerbaijani public. “As a person who also was involved in the process of National NGO Forum launching I am sure that this coalition always has served the interests of Azerbaijani statehood. Plus this organization has undersigned many national and international events in line with our statehood interests. That`s why we think to unite our efforts and achieve one more platform for such activities” – has said Azer Hasret and added that the Board of CASCFEN voted for decision to apply for National NGO Forum membership on its meeting dated November 3, 2012.
Rauf Zeyni accepting documents of CASCFEN for membership said that the application will be reviewed as soon as possible.
Note: Azerbaijan National NGO Forum is a coalition of national NGOs having about 600 member organizations. The Forum was launched in 1999.
