CJTeam, Yerevan, 01 Oct 2008 – “Journalists’ Team for Sustainable Future” NGO with the support of the British Embassy Yerevan is inviting its colleagues to participate in a workshop on Raising the Role of the Media in Covering Justice and Law Enforcement System being held on October 27, 28, 29 in Yerevan.
The workshop will be prepared and delivered by Dainius Radzevicius, chairman of Lithuanian Journalists Union and Audrys Antanaitis, famous journalist of Lithuanian National TV “5 channel” programs “Pulsas”, “Europulsas”, “Dviguba tiesa” and the News Radio “Žinių radijas”.
Experts from Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia will present their reports.
During the workshop the Lithuanian experts will present Lithuanian experience in establishing free media and democratic institutions in the transitional period.
The participants will choose the most vulnerable issues existing in Armenia, develop structures of potential stories and write thematic articles.
The working language of the workshop is Russian and Armenian.
